Health & Fitness Disclaimer

Last updated: 7 August 2026  ·  Applies to this website, the blog and all coaching services

Read this before you start training, change how you eat, or act on anything you read on this site. Coaching can change your life — but it isn't healthcare, and it isn't a substitute for a doctor.

Not medical advice. Dion Samuel is a lifestyle and transformation coach. He is not a doctor, registered dietitian, physiotherapist, psychologist or licensed healthcare provider. Nothing on this website, in the blog, in social media posts, or in any coaching programme constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy or a prescription. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise or nutrition programme, and never ignore or delay medical advice because of something you read or were told here.

Get cleared before you start

Speak to a doctor first, without exception, if any of the following apply to you:

Assumption of risk

Physical exercise carries inherent risk — muscle strains, joint injury, falls, cardiac events and, in rare cases, serious or fatal outcomes. Changing your diet carries risk too, particularly if you have an underlying condition. By using this website's content or participating in coaching, you voluntarily accept those risks and take full responsibility for your own health, safety and choices.

Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, severe breathlessness, dizziness, faintness, unusual pain, or anything that doesn't feel right. Pushing through those is not discipline. It's a bad decision.

No guarantee of results

The transformation photos, numbers and testimonials on this site are real clients who did the work, and they are shared with permission. They are illustrative, not a promise of what you will achieve.

Your results depend on your starting point, age, genetics, hormones, medical history, sleep, stress, injuries, life circumstances and — above all — your consistency over months. Those are things we can guide but cannot control. No specific weight, body-fat percentage, physique, lift, timeline or health outcome is guaranteed, promised or implied by anything on this site.

General information vs. personal advice

The blog and free content on this site are general educational information, written for a broad audience. They are not tailored to you, they do not account for your medical history, and they should not be treated as a personal plan. Personalised guidance only exists inside a coaching relationship, and even then it is coaching, not clinical care.

Supplements and substances

We do not prescribe, recommend, endorse or supply medicines, injectables, anabolic steroids, SARMs, weight-loss drugs or any performance-enhancing or controlled substance, and we will not coach around their use. Any mention of ordinary supplements (such as whey protein or creatine) is general information only — check with your doctor before taking anything, and buy only from reputable sources.

Nutrition, disordered eating and mental health

Coaching involves tracking food, weight and photos. For some people that is helpful structure; for others it can be a trigger. If you have a history of disordered eating, body dysmorphia, or if tracking begins to affect your mental health, tell us and speak to a qualified mental health professional. We will adapt the approach or step back from tracking entirely — and if what you need is clinical support rather than coaching, we will say so plainly.

Coaching is not therapy and is not a crisis service. If you are in distress or at risk of harming yourself, please contact a doctor, a mental-health professional or a helpline in your country immediately.

Third-party content

This site may link to other websites, studies or resources. Those links are for convenience and interest only. We don't control that content and we're not responsible for its accuracy, safety or currency.

Accuracy and limitation of liability

We write carefully and update when we learn better, but nutrition and exercise science evolves and no content here is guaranteed to be complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dion Samuel and Dion Samuel Coaching System accept no liability for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from reliance on this website's content or from participation in any training or nutrition protocol — particularly where medical clearance was not obtained or relevant health information was not disclosed. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded is not excluded. See section 12 of the Terms of Service.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you're unsure whether coaching is appropriate for your situation, message @dionsamuel_ on Instagram and ask before you start. Dion would rather turn someone away than coach them into an injury.
